The Suicide Paradox

Now, I know this is different from the usual posts and a lot shorter, but I came up with this. Here it is: Let’s say you want for absolutely no reason want to go one week into the future and kill yourself. Now let’s say you actually do succeed in this, but you know that you’re going to be killed in exactly one week. So you prepare yourself with weapons, and get ready to stop the you from the past from killing you.

Now here’s the paradox of this concept, if you killed yourself in the future

Then went back to prepare to stop yourself from getting killed wouldn’t that mean that the you you killed would know of this, thus causing you to be stopped?

Just think about that. Could this prove that events in the future are not set things, but mere possibilities?
